Key Takeaways
- Bitcoin ETFs added $17.07M on Thursday, extending their inflow streak to four sessions.
- Ether and solana products saw heavier outflows, while zcash stretched its winning streak to eight days.
- Broader bitcoin buying is improving, but the gap with weaker altcoin demand keeps widening.
Bitcoin ETFs Add $17M to Extend Winning Streak
Bitcoin’s week is still green. The momentum behind it, however, has cooled sharply.
Spot bitcoin ETFs attracted $17.07 million on Thursday, a fraction of the $137.33 million added Wednesday and well below Tuesday’s $175.99 million.
Blackrock’s IBIT led with $12.80 million. Fidelity’s FBTC brought in $10.53 million, Bitwise’s BITB added $8.76 million, and Morgan Stanley’s MSBT gained $4.16 million. Those inflows were partly offset by a $15.35 million withdrawal from Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust and a $3.84 million exit from Wisdomtree’s BTCW.
Trading value rose to $2.11 billion across the funds, while net assets closed at $104.27 billion.

Bitcoin Holds Its Lead as Momentum Fades
The four-day sequence now totals roughly $440.73 million in bitcoin ETF inflows.
That’s a strong weekly result after October’s erratic institutional trading. Yet the daily progression has changed, with $110.34 million on Monday, $175.99 million Tuesday, $137.33 million Wednesday, and just $17.07 million Thursday.
The slowing pace suggests demand around bitcoin’s price is becoming less aggressive heading into Friday.
Breadth was healthier, though. Four bitcoin products attracted capital on Thursday, reducing the reliance on IBIT that defined several earlier sessions. That gives the rally a more balanced base even as the headline inflow shrinks.
Ether and Solana Selling Accelerates
Ether ETFs moved in the opposite direction. Ether funds lost $105.48 million on Thursday, marking their fourth consecutive negative session. Blackrock’s ETHA shed $71.68 million, while ETHB lost $15.60 million.
Grayscale’s ETHE and Ether Mini Trust recorded another $21.11 million in combined withdrawals, while Fidelity’s FETH was the outlier, attracting $2.90 million in investment. Week-to-date ether outflows have now reached roughly $275.69 million.
Thursday also broke the pattern of steadily moderating losses seen from Monday through Wednesday. The renewed acceleration suggests institutional pressure on ether remains unresolved.
Solana delivered an even sharper warning.
SOL ETFs lost $27.69 million on Thursday, pushing their four-day outflow total to about $60.74 million. Bitwise’s BSOL accounted for $23.68 million of Thursday’s exit, while Grayscale’s GSOL lost $4.01 million.
Zcash Builds an 8-Day Winning Streak
Zcash continues to emerge as October’s most persistent smaller-fund flow story.
Grayscale’s ZCSH attracted $14.81 million, extending its inflow streak to eight sessions. Week-to-date additions have reached roughly $22.29 million, while assets climbed to $787.66 million.
XRP also strengthened, drawing $8.43 million across Franklin’s XRPZ and Bitwise’s XRP. That moved XRP into positive territory for the week despite Monday’s outflow.
HYPE added $3.70 million, narrowing its weekly deficit. NEAR recorded no flow for a second straight session.
The latest crypto ETF data leaves Friday with two competing trends. Bitcoin still carries a healthy weekly inflow cushion, while ether and solana are seeing heavier withdrawals as the week progresses.
A strong Friday for bitcoin would confirm another week of institutional accumulation. However, continued weakness in ether and solana would deepen the divide between core bitcoin exposure and the rest of the crypto risk curve.
